We designed this custom home at Schaffer’s Mill to capture a modern mountain aesthetic that feels both striking and approachable, with strong horizontal rooflines, expansive glazing, soaring ceilings, and warm natural materials that connect the home to its golf course and forest setting. Perched above the 2nd fairway with views extending toward the pond on the 6th, we ensured the main living spaces are filled with natural light and oriented to take full advantage of the surrounding landscape.

The floor plan is perfect for both everyday livability and effortless entertaining, with 5 bedrooms including a flexible fifth room for an office, gym, or guest space. The open-concept great room and chef’s kitchen form the heart of the home, while the lower-level media lounge with custom bar opens to a covered patio designed for year-round enjoyment, complete with provisions for a hot tub and multiple outdoor TVs. Spa-inspired bathrooms, elevated finishes, and an oversized garage for two large SUVs plus a golf cart complete a home that is both highly functional and architecturally distinctive.
