Step 1
Discovery & Alignment
Every project begins with listening. We meet to understand your lifestyle, priorities, investment range, and the unique characteristics of your property. Whether in Tahoe, Truckee, El Dorado Hills, or the greater Sacramento region, during this phase, we:

Review your site and any HOA requirements

Step 2
Concept & Site Design
This is where your home begins to take form. We translate ideas into initial floor plans and conceptual layouts for:

Functional living patterns

Community or regional design guidelines
You’ll review early plans with us and refine the direction together. This stage is about exploring possibilities and defining the architectural character of your home.
Step 3
Refinement & Coordination
Once the overall concept is established, we deepen the design. Plans are refined, proportions adjusted, and interior architecture developed. We coordinate with structural, civil, energy, and other consultants to ensure the design is both beautiful and buildable.

Step 4
Construction Documentation & Approvals
With the design finalized, we prepare comprehensive construction drawings that allow your builder to price and construct the home accurately.

By the end of this stage, your project is ready to move confidently into construction.
Step 5
Construction Support & Welcome Home!
We remain actively involved through construction to help ensure the architectural intent is preserved.
Working collaboratively with your builder, we:
