Located in the heart of the prestigious Schaffer’s Mill community in Truckee, California, this contemporary luxury mountain cabin perfectly embodies the blend of elegance, comfort, and adventure. The goal was to create a family-friendly home in which everyone would feel comfortable and welcome in all seasons, and features classic Tahoe elements with a clean twist.

Nestled among the existing trees onsite, this 4,000 sqft. home blends into its natural environment, with Montana ledgestone adorning the elevation to play off of the boulders on the property, and also features stained cedar to match the surrounding forest.

The heated driveway is a perfect for the snowy months, and upon entry, the private forested backyard is visible beyond the great room through huge glass sliders. The soaring great room is casually elegant, leading to indoor-outdoor living complete with an oversized fire pit with seating on the patio. Continue on to a heated spa, and expansive covered outdoor space complete with a cooking station, dining table, ceiling heaters and fan.
